Ioannis Milioritsas holds a BSc in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) in Athens, Greece and a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, UK.
Prior to joining the Chair for Sustainability Transition Policy he worked as an Econometrician for two years in Energy Aspects, an energy research intelligence company headquartered in London.
His primary research focus revolves around the application of quantitative and econometric methods to assess the efficacy of energy transition policies aimed at steering society towards a sustainable, zero-carbon future.
